Preparing Grooms Speeches – What I Find Helpful

In my quest to come up with the best grooms speeches that I could present, I have come across many resources; some more useful than others. When it comes to advice, there were plentiful…some from friends and others from relatives.  All offer some good points on the wedding speech that I took note of.

My best friend pointed me to the internet to source for good examples or guides to presenting a good groom wedding speech. I tried using groom speeches examples as a base but did not work out for me.  You can check out my previous entry HERE to find out why these wedding speeches examples was not suitable for me.

Finally, after all my “research” work, what actually work for me is the format that is called template type.  This is a sort of fill-in-the-blanks type of format.  The template is already given and by using this template, I started to fill in the blanks with the notes that I had jotted down earlier. I find that by doing it this way, I had much better control as to what goes onto the groom wedding speech sheets. The template acts like a guide and funnel.  The main materials still have to come from me, which is fine. The finished grooms speech shows much more of my personality which is what I like about this format of wedding speech.

Remember I had a bunch of notes jotted down in my note book as elements that I wanted included in the groom speech? Well, the template is made in such a way that allows me to incorporate most of these gems into my wedding speech without compromising on other aspects of the speech.

Conclusion

What I want to point out are help that works for me in the preparation of my grooms speeches. I want to help those of you who do not want to spend too much time on the net doing the research work.  Just follow what I do and you would not be disappointed.
